  1. I he in speech therapy? I know the feeling well  My 8 year old daughter has speech issues and a developmental delay and gets teased a lot.  She has speech therapy at school and We  try to work on her speech at home by playing games like making silly rhymes with a word that she has a problem with  or braking down the word and saying all the syllables slowly it dose help the it tames time

  2. have you tried speech therapy?

have you had his hearing checked?

    best of luck

  3. first an exam by a physician and/or speech pathologist (therapist)

  4. what age is he? But a speech therapist will help allot. Mean while talk slowly to him make sure he is watching you or look in a mirror with him making words. Play with cars and talk while you do this it will help him talk to you, and not feel weird. This is what my sons speech pathologist does and he went from not talking to not shutting up. He still has some probs but it gets better and better every day.

  5. Call your local school district.  There are programs available for preschoolers which include free speech therapy.  They will put you in touch with one of the therapists who will conduct a free comprehensive assessment of your child's speec/language abilities and offer services if necessary.  Depending on you state and the child's needs, therapy could take place at your local elementary school.  Call asap.  You don't want to wait any longer if your child is feeling frustrated.

  6. Try taking him to speech therapy, when I was little I had trouble talking also, but now I can talk just like everbody else! :)

    Best of luck!

  7. My best friend, Dylan has the same problem. One thing you should do is get him a speech therapist. The next thing get him some good friends who can HELP him talk. Like me! When I first met Dylan, i felt so sorry for him and on that day decided that I would help him. Also another useful thing introduce him to the internet and try to make him pronounce all the words like Y-A-H-O-O   M-E-S-S-E-N-G-E-R. Watch movies that can be informative (but not the wrong ones!). But most of all spend time with him. Sit down with him and read some books or play some board games like scrabble and monopoly. I hope this helps and your son gets better. Keep me posted :)
