My son has a suzuki quadsport 50 forwheeler, and it goes super slow, where and how do i take the govorner off?

  1. That unit has a spacer in the slide on the carb, if you s***w it off you will see it is a brass piece. There is also a spacer in the exhaust at the exhaust manafold if you unscrew it you will see there they placed a washes to restric the exhaust. That should make them run better


  2. I'm not positive, but there should be a s***w behind the thumb throttle.

    It is probably turned all the way in, the slowest setting. Turn it back out and it will let the throttle lever depress farther in to make it go faster. Hope this helps.

  3. try the carb or the throtal...somtimes they put in a pin to stop it reving to high....

  4. Quad bikes are ment for power and not for speed but you have used the term "super slow" just get the clutch plates checked.

    Check with the manufacturer help line before your tinker with a governer (if it exists on your bike) which i doubt.

    People who recommend you to remove the spacers are they ready to come and fix your bike if it becomes a gas guzzler while remaining "super slow" or starts leaking every where?

    Be practical and talk to the right people which is the manufacturer's authorised service centre.
