I am wondering if this is a good score. He will be a senior this year and will start applying to colleges this fall.

  1. that's a very good score

    maybe you can aim higher

but you should talk to him

  2. 31 is a good score

  3. That is a very good score, not many make a score that high.

  4. 31 is a good score.  Good as in top 1% or so.  Unless he is applying to MIT or Oxford, there is no practical need to retest.

  5. This is a great score! He is in the top 1 percentile of everyone who takes it.  As a tutor for the test I can tell you that even if he were to put in the time and effort tutoring requires, it is highly unlikely his score will get any better.  With so few questions missed, he can try to take it again and probably increase his score just by chance.  I would concentrate on his extracurriculars, essays, and researching the schools he wants to apply to at this point to make him stand out...especially if you are applying to very competitive schools. Good luck!
