Earlier today at the doctor she asked about that but I haven't noticed it. What does it mean? I have read on-line that it may be shigella. What are the other possibilities. I will go back to the doctor, I'm just wondering...

BTW, he is 4 years old.

Thanks.

  1.   If the child has asthma or infected stuffy sinuses, then mucus could be in the stool due to swallowing the mucus.

  2. i don't think you should post this for random strangers to "diagnose", get a real medical explanation from the hospital.
