  1. Y S0 SRS?

  2. From recessive genes in his parent's genes.

Have you heard of the case where a black baby was born to a white couple? Its all about the recessive genes!

  3. maybe it's somewhere else down the line. I don't look anything like either parents dark, hair olive skin, and apparently i'm like a great grandmother... maybe it works like that?

  4. does someone have dimples in either one of your families like a brother sister mom dad grandma grandpa anyone that's where it could have came from

  5. Look up Dominant Genes and Recessive Genes in the World Book Encyclopedia. The dimples that your son has could have come from someone else in either your family tree or your Husband's family tree. This can happen. Like let's say your great great great Grandmother on your Mother's side had red hair, but no one in your current family has red hair. Then, your brother gets married and has a little girl who is born with red hair. But, no one in his current family has red hair and no one in his wife's family has red hair either. But, long ago your great great great Grandmother did. Her red hair genetic trait remained recessive for lo these many years till now. See what I mean?

    It's a really simple explanation.

I am sure that your son is the cutest little boy in the world and that you and his Dad love him very much.

  6. Someone slept with their ex!

Well come on people, why would she mention her ex? So let me guess this straight. 3months after you left your ex you got pregnant to another guy, assuming you have a week old baby right now? So how old is your baby? Huh? Huh?

Well, the plot thickens! I just read your other question written 4 months ago. In that question you were 32 weeks pregnant. Assuming you went to full term that would make your son two months old. Which means you were pregnant 1 month after leaving your ex. Given the discrepancies of judging the time of conception there is a chance that the ex is the father of your child.

  7. my son has a dimple on one side and neither me or my husband has one... i don't know if it's genetic or not but i know beyond any doubt whatsoever that my husband is the father of my son so neither of you has to have dimples yourselves for your child to have them....

  8. He could've gotten one of you guys' recessive allels.

  9. recessive trait more than likely.

That's 4th grade science right there....

  10. Sammy is right.

  11. it was probably a gene from a distant relative, i have big lips, and neither my mom, nor dad has big lips, NONE of the family that i know and knew has big lips, i eventually found out that i got it from my ancestors, your son must have gotten the dimples from either an ancestor or a distant relative. since your son is a newborn, it's possible that they can go away.

if you ever slept with your ex, a genetic might have been passed on from his body to yours, but never actually produced a baby.

    hope this helps!

  12. it can be from his grand parents, or any other family member with dimples, because a lot of time, these traits that are found in the x/y chromosomes can be recessive, so there will be a much less chance for that to occur.

  13. uhm sometimes things can come back after generations,

like a great great aunty might have red hair, then all of a sudden generations later it might come back when noone else has it.

    :)
