  1. It's probably just nerves, and he'll stop doing this once he gets more experience and confidence.  I used to be the same way when I was younger, now I'm fine.

  2. Perhaps it is cyclic vomiting syndrome.

  3. Could be he isnt quite in the hockey shape he needs to be in but that will come very quickly or it could just be a matter of nerves, once he is comfortable with the environment that will pass. Either way I doubt it is anything to worry about, he just needs time to adjust and surely wants it so bad that he is putting all he has into every second out there (this is a great thing, there are a lot worse things he could be doing). I never got sick while playing hockey but I did throw up before every high school football game....I just got too pumped up for the game.

  4. He will probably be fine once he is in better hockey shape.  The first few times out can be hard on the body.

Keep in mind that Hall of Fame goalie Glenn Hall used to throw up before every game he played.  He played 502 consecutive games in the NHL.

  5. He needs to get in shape more and this will not happen...he will get used to it after a while
