He is eight years old and we live in the UK. Any other thoughts would be helpful.

  1. i am going to recommend a us website

www.nichcy.org has tons of free info on dyselxia and other disabilities.

  2. I have several kids with diagnoses of various kinds, and a book I'm reading right now is called "Please Don't Label My Child". It's quite good, although it has little to do with dyslexia exactly.

I'd definitely recommend reading online. Anymore, books are just kind of repetitive, you can find more info, more updated info, online for free.

  3. Hi

Try reading 'Upside down brilliance the Visual Special learner by Linda Silverman. I would also get him checked out by a behavioral optometrist, they are not just looking at 20/20 vision, many people with dyslexia also have tracking, focus and depth perception issues that a behavioral optometrist can help with.
