My son has multi myeloma and kidney failure?

He found out last year that he had multi myeloma and shortly after he lost function of his kidneys and now does peritoneal dialysis at home. He suffers from extreme headaches so bad that he wishes he would just die when he has them. My question is , is there anyone out there that suffers from those kinds of headaches that has the same health problems he does , and if so , what do you do about them ? Its devestating for him and the whole family to watch him suffer so much. He's only 31 years old , a father of two boys , and a wonderfull husband. As his mother , I feel sick every day over the fact that I cant help him with his pain. Any suggestions that might stop his headaches would help. The doctors really dont offer much help.

check with ur doctor . He may need potent anagesics to get relieved from the pain or further evaluation may be needed to find out the cause of the pain. One the headaache can be due to multiple myeloma itself. Two it can be due to peritoneal dialysis .Three it can be due to other causes which will need clinical examination and investigations

The best approach would be to visit his doctor

my kidney transplat just failed and i got those type of headaches also but after a couple hemo dialysis runs like 4 of them they were gone .maybe he should try hemo dialysis his body might react better to that treatment...
