press the F11 button it might work

In Vista, right click on desktop and select "Personalize" from the drop down menu.  Select "Adjust font size (DPI)".

It depends on if you're talking about in Word, in your browser, across every program on the whole computer, etc.

I'm guessing you just mean in your browser.  Try Ctrl-minus

In internet explorer you can do this by holding control and moving the mouse wheel. The setting is in the "view" menu under "text size"
