My son is 10, and he is sick, but won't take the new medicine!?

Whats the best way for him to take it? I've tried everything. Or what else may make him feel better. His temp is 100. Thanx.

It's realy hard to say based on what you told us. If its a liquid it MAY be flavored. If its a tablet it MAY be crushed and put into some kind of food. CALLLLLLLLL your pharmacy and ask. Thx

Whatever works. reverse psychology, bribing, etc.

Scare him tell him if he doesn't take it, not to worry, that he will soon be in the hospital and they will IV it into him. WHere they take a needle about "this" long and put it into a vein in your arm, with a tube attached. Then they can give him whatever meds' they need.

You don't say what kind of medicine it is. Pill or liquid? My sorn hates medicine so I went to the basically 'bribe'  system. I'd stick a pill in a bite of pudding and with liquid I'd put it in orange juice. It hides a lot of the medicine flavor. One thing my son did like when he had the flu really badly was the gatorade pops. It really helps with a fever or a sore throat. I hope he feels better soon.
