  2. hi, you need to take your son to a specialist,

one of my friends son has the same problem, after each meal he has to sit on the toilet for at least 5min that way he can go and do what he has to do. this does not always work.

also check his diet the specialist will go through this with you.

i know my friends child is alot worse if he eats wheat . and starchy foods like potato .

    good luck

  3. you could try some treatment with cranial osteopathy

  4. Have you taken him to a pediatric gastroenterologist?  he needs to see a gastroenterologist not just a regular doctor.  sounds like it may be an issue with his smooth muscles.

Gastroenterologist specializes in the digestive tract.  has he had an endoscopy?  they place a tube with a camera up there and have a look - not very pleasant, but probably necessary.

  5. I have 5 children and 2 of them have had this problem.  This is the best remedy that I have found, first of all you need to use a treatment that will help him go regularly, MO works really well, it looks like a milanta bottle it is green but is actually called "MO".   have him take 2 table spoons twice a day for a couple weeks, be sure he is drinking lots of water too.  MO is good because it is not a stimulant, it is a softener.  Then after he seems to start being regular give it to him every day for at least 6 months, than the bowel will have a chance to get back to a reasonable capacity.  This could be a life time problem but this is a really good remedy, as always contact your doctor to be sure there are not any medical conditions... Good luck
