  1. No, you don't have to add him until he is driving.

  2. I would ask my agent to get the correct answer.

  3. No you don't have to add him. Only if he is driving your car. A person would not get car insurance period unless they were driving. Who ever told you that does not know what they are talking about. Now if he does have a permit and is driving your vehicle then maybe..otherwise no.

  4. talk to your insurance agent

  5. you dont have to add him till he has a liscense and drives you car

  6. If he dosen't have a license there is nothing to insure.

  7. If he is 15 as you say and has no liscense or permit and doesn't drive you don't have to have him on your insurence.

  8. you don't add him until he gets his license. my mom called her insurance company and that's what they said

  9. No,but don't let him drive it either, because the insurance will not pay for any damages.

  10. you dont until hes driving, then any driver in your home has to be reported to your ins co. good luck , i have 2-kids just started driving.

  11. no. but the moment he gets it they will make him. It's so expensive too if you are under 18!!! You don't need insurance for him if he has a learner's permit because he uses the 21 year old driver's insurance

  12. If he isn't driving your car he doesn't have to be on the insurance.

You only add household DRIVERS to an insurance policy.
