got a job yet anyway, he can sign on at connections and if he does i can continue to get child benefit, he says he will go if his friend goes with him his friend came today but he did not go what do i do

Tell him that if he doesn't go to school, and doesn't find himself a job asap, you will only be providing him with a bed to sleep on, the clothes he already owns and bare minimum food for survival. no computer, dvd, tv, game boys etc. and then be consistent with that, and follow through.

Tell him to go or he won't get any money/allowance from you because you won't be getting any from the benefits.
