He is just congested.

He is NOT running a fever or coughing.

I just got over a sinus cold and so did my step children, coworkers...tons of people around here are getting sinus colds, so I'm certain that's what he's got.

What can I do for him?

  1. My daughter is 3months old and is having the same issue, i just went to walgreens and bought a cool vapor humidifier and put it about 3ft. from her crib. Also, my doctor recomended getting saline drops and dropping 2 drops in each nostril but sucking it out with a nose suction bulb... its working pretty well so far..

  2. put a humidifier in his room, or take him in the bathroom with a hot shower going

  3. I hate to try to make you paranoid but my 10 week old baby had the same symptoms 2 weeks ago. I took her to the dr just to be sure it was a cold. It turns out she had a respiratory infection. The doctor said all the kids are getting it. She was congested & sneezed alot but no fever or coughing. I'm definitely not saying that's what it is but it's better to be safe than sorry.

  4. Wrap your baby in a bundle of blankets, put a wee bit of Vick's vapor rub on his top lip. Then watch your baby while he sweats out the cold, you can also suck the mucus out of his nose. But do not swallow it,immediately spit it inside some tissue and discard it.
