  1. its not strange...it can take as long as 12 months to see any teeth. all babies are different but if your worried, talk to the dentist :)

  2. I work at a daycare and am in the 6 weeks to 18 months room..some of my 18 month olds don't have teeth yet,or they only have one..don't worry!

  3. not all babies get teeth at the same point. i didn't get teeth until i was one year old. in general it seems like people who get teeth later seem to have "better" quality teeth (from what i have deduced from talking to other people) so don't worry about it. i'm 27 years old and my teeth are amazing and i didn't get my first one til after i was one, didn't lose my first tooth until i was almost 8.

  4. his teeth will come in when they are ready.

edit: some babies don't get teeth until they are 18 months old there is nothing to worry about.

  5. Yes, that is strange. Where are they???

  6. No it's not strange at all. My daughter didn't get her first tooth until she was 13 1/2 months old. Now at 2 1/2 years old she has all of them!

    So, no worries :)

  7. My mother in law said her oldest child didn't get her first tooth until after her first birthday!  I wouldn't worry about it too much!

  8. That's not strange at all.  Some children are born with teeth, some don't get any until they are over a year.  Everyone is different.  Both my girls didn't get their first tooth until they were almost 1.  A lot of babies are like this.

  9. I thought the same way with my baby but its normal her teeth all came in the week of her 1st bday and I didn't have to deal with teething pain

  10. It's not strange at all, every baby is different. The ADA says the first teeth erupt anywhere from 6 to 10 months. Wait until your son is 11 months old or so and then take him to a pediatric dentist to rule out any problems. It's true some babies get teeth early, my son had his first at 5 months and I've heard of babies getting teeth as early as 3 months, but there are also late teethers. Don't worry about it.

  11. No! Its not strange at all. Lots of babies have no teeth at 8 months.

Give it a full year, and if you still see NO teeth.. then maybe I'd have him checked out.

But this is so very common that I'm sure he'll have some by 12-16 months!

    Good luck <3

  12. My friend's daughter is 2 next month and she only has 8 teeth now so I wouldn't worry.
