dont worry i did until i was 10 and in 4th grade go to the orthodontist and they put this thing in.  thats what i did and it works wonders

well you could tell him if doesnt stop people are going to call him a baby and buck tooth and tell him his teeth will fall out.

Go to Wal-Mart look in the nail care isle. There is a polish called NO Bite. Its soooo nasty I promise your child wont suck his thumb after putting that stuff on them. I'm a nail bitter and when I used the stuff my nails grew for the first time ever.... I promise it works.

Why is the fact that he sucks his thumb an issue for you?

Is it really bothering anybody when he does it? If not, then theres no need to make him stop. My older cousin is 14 and still does it and  my older sister is 18 and still does it.

Nothing and I mean NOTHING worked for my sister, she just eventually gave it up on her own by the time she was like 12.  Same thing with her friend's sister - sucked her thumb while she was insecure or sleeping through her adolescent years..  she had some issues going on with her dad though...  Be careful with how you DO deal with it though because you could end up making it worse..
