It might be a long time before he is anywhere near 80lbs.

  1. no

  2. I have to ask why hes 8 and only 46 pounds, my three year old is 40 pounds.

  3. How long has he been in there?

He is most likely 'safe' riding without the car seat but just a seat belt, but he will probably be injured more than if he'd been in a car seat if you have an accident.

A car seat is a bit of a hassle, but it's often times more of one with a kid in the car and a car seat 'contains' him. I wish I could put my 13 year old in one sometimes!

You'd also be courting a ticket if he's not in one.

  4. Try this site it is for all state and maybe it will help..........

    But NO...............

  5. depends on what state your in. the law has a weight and height limit. the best way to decide is if his knees are over the edge of the seat in other words do they bend easily when he sits in the seat correctly.  also if the seat belt is in his face then its not a good time.

  6. It's safe as long as you don't crash.

All those booster seats are good for is making sure the kid is comfortable under the seatbelt.

  7. It depends on your childs' height and the law in your state. Excuse me, but your child seems to be underweight for his age.I hope he's doing ok.
