  1. Put a chocolate pudding in his lunch and a note saying I'll give this to you everyday if you promise me u like school!

  2. don't worry. he wil get used to it in no time. as a child, i've moved from school to school. i've made many friends. he will find some friends and he will get used to the school.

  3. i used to hate school too and i still do even though i am 13 years old. hating it is a normal part of life. but u can't force him to like school. if he doesn't like it, then it must mean there is a problem at school like bullying or having no friends.....just talk to the teacher and she might have some ideas.

  4. .i know isn't easy matter i had some issues with my son my self  .but he likes to go to school, when he start school years . i use to do dance with him every morning .u know like silly dance .i know sound crazy . but i had to .to get him smile .once he smile the rest of the day will be OK.or u can give him a sticker . and most of all talk and talk with him how is school so important.how much fun .

  5. Give them your physical and emotional support, bringing them to school and picking them everyday. This way, they learn to feel how important he is. Share with him the patience because this will get you bored, but keep in your mind that we cannot force them to do one thing instantly. It is more on trying to find out a sloution to a problem.

I've been in that situation with my 2 daughters before. I was so depressed when they are not showing interest in going to school.

Send them to school together with their playmates, cousins or anybody close to them. This will help him to cope up with his enjoyment and school needs.

  6. I don't think you can make him like school, but if you support him at home, and help him to understand that school is necessary for what he would like to be when he grows up, it might be a little more bearable for him. Whatever you do, try not to let him know you feel sorry for him..help him to know that you feel confident that he can handle life's difficulties.

  7. I think it is important to talk with your son and find out if there are any problems like bullying at his school. You could also talk with his teachers to find out if they have noticed any problems. Maybe he is behind in a subject (maybe due to an unnoticed learning disability) and that is causing him to struggle and not like school perhaps.

If nothing helps maybe you could try a different school. The teachers at his school might not be teaching in a way that captures children interests and might be too strict. I changed to a christian private school after 11th grade for my last two years(I live in Germany so I still go until 13thgrade) . The teachers give better oral grades, are more helpful and are more friendly so I like school better now.

I hope I could help you.

  8. You can't MAKE anyone LIKE anything. You can talk to him to find out why he doesn't care for school - why he doesn't want to go. If there are issues on which you, he, and the school can work, then work on them.

But you can't just snap your fingers and make him like it.

  9. Making friends make school a lot better, so he should try and make as many as possible.

Knowing the material beforehand also makes people feel confident and a lot smarter and proud that they already know what the teacher is talking about and are much better than the rest of the students.

Also interesting examples of school material can make it more exciting.  Like instead of "How many apples do we have?", "How many apples did Spongebob (child's t.v. show character) eat?"
