  1. Leave them safe at home so he can pay attention in class!

  2. the best thing that you could do is tell him dont take it. From my own experience the schools dont allow cell phones or ipods any ways and they take them to give to the staffs kids

  3. Have him keep them at home during school.

  4. tell him to keep it locked in his locker during the day, or to leave it at home

  5. Schools are starting to ban cellphones and MP3/Ipods because of the lack of attention the students are giving to the teachers.

So I suggest you tell him to keep the iPod at home, and get him a cheap 20 dollar music player or something.

For the cellphone, im not sure,it would be safe if he had it. Just tell him not to boast and show it around to everyone, then it'd be more likely for it to get stolen.

  6. Tell him on the first day to leave his ipod and cell phone in his locker during class, where they will be safe.  Most schools do not allow texting and having phones on in class.  Ipods might be allowed when doing independent work.  It depends on the class and the teacher.  The teachers and/or school might inform you of their policies regarding ipods and cells in a school start-up newsletter.

Try to attend a parents' orientation if this is offered by your son's school.

  7. He shouldn't bring those things to school anyway. School is for learning, not for electronics like cell phones and ipods. I have 3 boys in themiddle school and they aren't even allowed to have those things. if they bring them they have to stay in their locker all day anyway and if they are caught with it they take it away.

  8. Find a teacher or someone who will keep it until he needs it.

Its the best answer i can give you

but if that doesnt work out

put it in a pocket the zips.

    :)

    hope that helped

  9. Have him keep it at home or if he must bring it, keep it on him, leaving it in his bag could get it stolen
