See my son is getting married over the July 4th week and wanted a small wedding. now, at the last minute he tells me thay have decided to have a rehersal dinner. I live in Texas and wont even be ib town until Friday the 4th. I need to know where I can call and reserve a banquet/meeting type space so that I may choose the menu and have alcahol .

City Search . com for Tulsa lists restaurants.  You can get on the phone and see what they have to offer. Pick your food type (steak, Italian, seafood) and go from there.  Some of these have a web site for that restaurant, but not all of them.

I live in the Tulsa area and my son had his rehearsal dinner at Steak and Ale.  They have a nice room on the second floor that we used.  We all ordered from the menu, but you could do what you want food-wise.  It's a nice restaurant.
