  1. you should put lotion on it. i get rugburns all the time

  2. Try soothing his limbs with a lotion. Then try putting a large blanket on the floor so that he is not next to the rug. You might have to move it like a thousand times, but believe me it works. Anything to save his soft precious skin.

  3. With all due respect, many people don't know how much accumulated dirt is locked away in those fine looking carpets which are theoretically clean. That's why so many "fanatical" parents with infants have zero tolerance for wearing shoes in the house. It's either that or he's got an allergy for something in the composition of the carpet furs. Only a doctor may be able to diagnose this exactly. I hope it isn't too complicated to remedy without tearing up the whole house. All the best to you and your precious little one.

  4. COCOA BUTTER WILL KEEP IT FROM SCARING BUT U PROBABLY WON'T B ABLE TO STOP IT.... U KNOW HOW KIDS R. :}

  5. sounds like he only needs to be sliding around/crawling on hard floors or buy a large mat?

  6. Vaseline or baby lotion should work.

  7. I'm just a kid but when i was little i got a carpet burn on my stomach, from my sister! Go figure, I remember my mom putting aloe and i think cocoa butter on it to relieve pain and it helped tremendously.. though you might want to check and see if those are safe to use on babies' sensitive skin. I'm sorry if this didn't help but i found a question i can definitely relate to. Hope it helps! : )

  8. Oh, the army crawl. My boys both mastered that one.

    I found that letting them wear their pajamas helped. They wore either the feetie PJ's, or the close fitting sets.

    Just make sure his skin stays moisturized, so it's not as irritated.

  9. Just keep the areas covered and keep them moisturized.  My son did the same thing at that age.  :)
