My son is going to ONE. First Birthday?

My son is going to be ONE! I'm so excited. Well does anyone have any ideas to do for his first birthday?

Definately have a theme! My cousin is having one for her one year old son too and she is doing a circus theme with a clown and things like a pool party! Have fun and good luck!

I just invited family over for a cookout and we sung happy birthday. She had her own little cake and I bought a sheet cake for everyone else. You could have some games if there are going to be older kids there, I just did goody bags. Your son isn't going to remember it so you can pretty much do whatever you want for decorations and what have you. This is going to be a good memory for you and your family not for him. lol

chose a theme like the zoo, or dogs, cats, dinosaurs etc. like something really simple. or even his fave color

If there is a certain TV show he watches alot like Thomas the Tank or Elmo, go to a party store are try to put the theme around that. If he goes to a daycare invite some kids from his class. Also you could rent a ball pit filled with colourful balls for him to play in.
