My son is making his confirmation soon ..any ideas on how to entertain later..family and friends?

Throw a small party....

-Have music

-Games for the kids.....with little prizes or candy prizes

-Serve a dessert

Trust me I did this after mine, it will be a good time!

Just provide nibbles and SOFT drinks - after all it is his day - and you will find people will have a great time just catching up with the latest family gossip, and have loads of photos taken and printed for them to take away

get raw mozzerella chese from italy, or similar to the italian import. serve with tomato and basil to make the italian appetizer, caprese. add alot of other things like ham, turkey and roast beef. fruit for the health nuts....nuts for the health nuts.

so many people have big do's these days its far nicer to have a good ole feed back home with the family then the poor kids can just relax....just do some cold plates and buns etc and keep the drinks flowing...have fun

This is his big moment. A photo show of high points in his life would be nice - from birth to now, along a table strewn along with some little nibbles. As the guests graze, they can see and comment on the photos, and he can shine.

For my sons and daughters communion - we had food provided for us in the social hall of the school that they attended - all food was made and delivered to the social hall by the first grade class and that made it nice/

OR you could take family out to a restaurant

for my confirmation, first my mom cooked like a maniac, and i had two friends over. my family stayed around the house talking and eating and me and my friends and my little 3 year old cousin, stayed in my room and then took my cousin to the park, my family said they had fun.

Bouncing castle, marquee, buffet - job done. You're never going to satisfy everyone and it would cost a fortune to sit them all down for a meal.

Just remember, it's a confirmation, not a wedding!
