My son is taking his road test for his license...?

today and he's freaking out about the parallel parking. We're in Michigan and has anyone recently taken their test and how did it go for you?

I did. I took the test and passed with flying colours. When it came to the parallel parking part I said "Uh, I'm not parking there you stupid twit, when there's a perfectly good parking place across the way."  

And the examiner said "I want this place, so park THERE!"

And I say "It's no use to shout, I'm deaf."

So I start commencing the parallel parking maneuvre and go about three feet and stop and say "I canna go no further as there's a bug in the path of the tire and as a Jaini I cannot knowingly take an innocent life. Go out and look if you don't believe me."  

So the examiner said "You d**n Brits and your philosophical ways!" and walks behind the car.  When he was in the proper position I suddenly backed over his *** and flattened him.

I then filled out the examiner's form which the blighter had already signed in advance and gave myself a perfect score and returned it and got my bloody driver's license.

Pass this story to your son and it'll cheer him up.

I say all government bureaucrats should be flattened with monster trucks.

All aspects of driving are based on commom sense and confidence, your sons instructor obviously thinks that he is ready for the test so he has got to prove him right. Tell your son to keep calm, concentrate on what the examiner is tellig him to do and generally hold ,it together and he shoul be fine, he also need to tell himself that there is no shame in failing, and he can always try again at a later date. Wish him luck.
