My son is traveling to Bucaramanga, Colombia on a mission trip, he has one free day. Where to go?

How expense is it in Colombia?

Colombia is not expensive.On his free day he could go to Giron an old  colonial city very close to Bucaramanga

or take a tour bus to Parque National del Chicamocha.

There are many things to see and do in Bucaramanga also.

That is cool, your son will have fun. Bucaramanga is my favourite city, I was there 3 weeks ago.

Tell him to go partying, it is an Egyptian theme club, I can't remember the name but all he has to tell the taxi driver that it is located right before you pay the street toll when going to the airport. But on the weeknights it is empty, he needs to go on the weekend.

Also "La Florida" mall is good. They sell cheap, I did not buy any shoes but my friend did, she paid 20.000cp, but there were others for cheaper. Pants and Shirt are like 30.000cp more or less. Things are extremely cheap.

I did not get time to go all over the place, my cousin did, he basically when to the clubs. So I have to go back next year to really enjoy that city.
