  1. well its not the best price but you will get a fixer upper

  2. when i think of a car for 2,000 i think of a 199something civic hatchback with black and white primer and clip on 14 in plastic rims that has that written on its windshield, nuff' said

  3. Best car for a 16 year old boy is a 10-15 year old full size pickup truck.  They are very reliable (any make or model), easy to service, easy to maintain, and very affordable.  Yes, the gas mileage isnt' the best, but he's not going to be putting that many miles on it per year, so the actual cost of gas isn't that much

Get one with a manual transmission, and it's even better.... teach him to drive on a stick-shift and he'll be a better driver overall.

Plus, in a couple years when it's time to go to college, he can haul all his stuff in the back when he moves.

  4. Get a 90s Grand Prix. They look sporty and they are relatively cheap.

I personally own a 92 Grand Prix GTP and I love the car (however, it has a 3.4 which is a pain to work on and your son will probably realize sooner or later it can beat any V6 mustang or Camaro on the road and get himself hurt)

  5. well....... depends when you mean horrible

you could find a running car for 2k but it aint no painted pretty car

i could get a car for 700 nice but sucks gas like i already do

  6. My first car is a 1994 Nissan Maxima. They go for about that these days with about 120K miles on them in decent shape. The engine will run for like 200-300K miles fairly easy. The only things I've had to really worry about were the timing belt and water pump (which you are supposed to replace every 60K anyways), a power steering hose (no big deal, could have fixed it with duct tape if I had to) and the window regulators.

  7. JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE... I LOVE MINE... IM 16 but i have a job and got a REALLY nice 98 for 4200... I saw some good decent ones for around 2000 also.... Either that or go with like a smaller Honda for reliability and gas mileage,.,,, Hope he enjoys a car!

  8. a mid 90s accord or civic

    a 2000s hyundai

    an old toyota

  9. go to autotrader.com  or cars.com  for that..

  10. NO WHERE!

  11. It definitely depend on which cater him the best and which he fancy the most, or else he'll get sick of it real soon! =)
