  1. That's normal for a six  yr. old. He'll grow out of it. It's just a habit like thumb-sucking. Try to discourage him by coaxing him not to do it. Don't scare him by forcing him to stop, that might really traumatize him. There is nothing to worry about.

But now if he was 15, I'd say run to the doctor...!!!

  2. most people get a sense of injoyment buting their sleves its like when a child sucks there tumb it is usualy a phase

  3. Perhaps some form of anxiety or fidgeting, like how some people bite their nails. Or, it could simply be a bad habit he's picked up.

  4. he might be nerves or maybe it just a habit of his. It's normal for kids to have habit of someting, he'll grow out of it. Belive me he will. k, but i think you should try to make him stop doing that, cuz sometime not all kids grow out of it, just to let you know. I lived with alot of kids in my house cuz my mom was a babysister for 13 years, and some of the kids didn't grow out of thing but some did. So i don't know any more. :I

  5. he's an oral kid.  leave him alone and let him be cuz he could be biting other children.

  6. Got me, but my daughter is almost 6 and I'm constantly telling her to stop chewing on her clothes.  I don't think it's a big deal, other than stretching out her sleeves and making them all wet.  Bad habit they got, I guess.

  7. My son used to do this too. Check to see if he is cutting his 6 yr molars.
