My son lost his front baby tooth and there is a large piece of skin now hanging there. What is this?

don't worry. It is thier after each tooth. It will be gone in a week

was the tooth yanked out? if so this may be a piece of him gums its no big deal it will fall out eventually, the same thing happened to my son!!

it's a "piece of skin".  leave it alone.  follow up with the dentist.

Probably just tissue that was still attached to the tooth and stretched out while the tooth was being pulled out.  Just leave it alone and it should be okay.....It will either fall off or attach back.

it is a large piece of skin. well, a part of the gum. it will fall off soon. i wouldn't worry about it, i remember playing with little pieces like that when i was his age. congrats on him losing his first tooth!

If he just lost that tooth then it is normal. My daughter had the same thing and it disappeared.
