  1. I think you should not stop giving them to him, but just keep him on a balanced diet for his age.

For example, just because i love chips doesn't mean i eat them all the time, same goes for candy. Niether of those are unhealthly when they are eaten as a balanced diet, but if i was just to eat those, my diet would be unhealthy.

  2. maybe as tea after dinner..but not dinner..hel need something more healthy and nutrious as hes still growing..

  3. That would totally depend on what cereals you give him!  He shouldn't be eating CocoPuffs or Lucky Charms at all (although a snack would be ok) ... but a healthy granola or muesli would be a good ADDITION to a dinner (as the starch).  He still needs to have protein, and fruits & veggies though......

  4. Cereal as a snack is fine. Dinner could be once in a while.

Just make sure its healthy, not loaded with sugar and has whole wheats and let him go to town.

  5. Your question is going into two different directions. For a snack, yes, actually cereal is a healthier choice for a sncak. But for dinner, I would recommend maybe once every two months

  6. Sure. Give him  piece of fruit so he gets two food groups. I ate cereal almost every night for dinner. My choice was eat what my Mom prepared or have cereal. I'm 26 and in great shape today. It doesn't hurt you at all. My Mom always insisted I have a banana or apple, too.
