1. Of course it is, they would never give something that expensive away for free! Never trust anything that says you won money, or even prizes for that matter. All they're trying to do is get money off you!

  2. if they called you,Or if they told you ONline,oh yes its a scam

  3. Sounds like a scam to me.

  4. Don't know. Did they ask him to send money up front for anything? If so, probably is a scam.

  5. Imperial Majesty is a real cruise line. But it is not much of one. They currently have only one ship. It's name is the Regal Empress, and it is a 1950's vintage vessel that has been sold and resold a number of times over the years. You are not talking about the Cunard line here.

In addition, whether or not Imperial Majesty is a legitimate operation, your son may still be caught up in some sort of scam. (If someone told him he won a Rolls Royce, it could be a scam, even though Rolls Royce is a real car.) There is no way to tell from the information in your question. See the sources below for more info. Good luck!!

  6. The clear questions are-

Did he enter a contest to win it?

Does it ask for him to send any money?

How did he receive the notice. Registered mail?

Its probably a scam. Answering these questions will probably give you the answer.

I looked up The Imperial Cruise Line Scam and yes it is a scam!

Just doing a quik search I found out it was. Sorry.

  7. If it was a popup on the computer, then, ya.

  8. If he didn't knowingly enter a contest which specifically stated that the prize was a trip with ImperialMajestyCruiseLines, then this is a scam. No one gets automatically entered into a contest. Also, I'm not sure where your son lives, but I live in America and have never heard of this cruise line before (and I've done quite a bit of research trying to find the best cruise line).
