I have a glass door that my cocketail loves to stand and look out, my son didn't see him there and when he went to shut the door it yelled. Now both of him feet are bleeding. What should I do? Will he be ok?

  1. Call your vet they'll have an emergancy # for you to call and get the poor thing help.

  2. Try to stop the bleeding with styptic powder...if you don't have this use cornstarch to clot up the bleeding, if it loses too much blood it can die. Place him on a warm clean white towel with millet(if you don't have millet give seed) and water this will help you monitor if the bleeding is slowing and then take him to a bird vet as soon as possible. Keep him in a warm place and try to talk to him if he is in a lot of distress in the interim. Sorry to hear this, accidents happen, I wish him a speedy recovery!

  3. he should be okay but you should put him in a box with holes in it put a towel at the bottom so he does'nt get hurt any more and go to the vet as soon as possible
