My son talks too much, what should i do?

my daughter is a chatterbox too, i love listening to her talk although sometimes it does grate on my nerves when i have a migrane or im trying to balance my bills.  maybe you could invent some quiet time twice a day where he sits and reads a book, or perhaps watches tv for an hour to give you a break... worth a try..

You spend 2 years teaching them to walk and talk.  You spend the next 16 telling them to sit down and shut up.  :)

Contrary to another poster (who got 4 thumbs up)  I have never once told any of my children to "shut up".......I will say that you should enjoy your son's gift of gab. Before you know it, he will be off to college and on his own and I can guarantee you will miss that chatter when he does.
