  1. It could be. I was born with a tooth. Symptoms are:

    • red and swollen gums

    • red flushed cheek or face

    • ear rubbing on the same side as the erupting tooth

    • heavy drooling

    • sleepless nights and wakefulness during the day

    • inconsistent feeding

    • gum rubbing, biting or sucking

    • general crankiness and being unsettled

    I hope this helps

  2. No it isnt too early- my daughter got her first two teeth when she was 2 months old. Some babies are even born with teeth! lol.

But with my girl- she was very fussy, she was drooling A LOT, she kept chewing and biting everything.

Also- some babies get a temperature when they are teething, not all, but some.

And if you feel your babys gums- sometimes (depending on how far down the teeth have come) you can feel the teeth beneath the gums that are about to break through. Sometimes you can see the white of them too.

  3. its not too early, he will be drooling a lot, fussier than normal, chewing instead of sucking, he may have a small fever and a tooth will pop out in about a week:) baby orajel and a baby cloth wetted and put in the freezer helps

  4. My son was drooling a lot, seemed extra clingy and had more frequent, watery stools.  He would also wake more at night.  It is tough for them I'm sure ... however those first two teeth are so cute!!

    Good luck!

  5. NO its not too early my baby did that systems are fever ,he may have a loose bowel ,itching at the gums ,drooling, and he will get more fussier the closer it gets to them breaking through the skin .
