  1. Definately bring the kids on a Disney Cruise.  There are plenty of activities for them to do.  There is also babysitting onboard and a kiddie pool.  And it would not be a true Disney cruise without the Disney characters.  They are onboard too. You can spend more time with them on a 7 Day cruise too. Or you can do a 7-Day Land & Sea Package (either 3 or 4 days at Disney World and either a 3 or 4 day cruise) My family and I took the 4-Day Bahamas aboard the Disney Wonder and it was FANTASTIC!  We ALL enjoyed ourselves. If you book a Bahamas/Caribbean Cruise from Florida then you get to stop at my favorite island "Castaway Cay".  It is breathtaking!  Disney owns this island (the original island from Gilligan's Island) and has it all set up for it's cruisers. Onshore there are activities for kids, teens, adults, and families.  Even a BBQ buffett. The restraunts on the Disney Ships serve top of the line cuisine (and kid friendly food too).  Disney has the best food of any line I have sailed with!  The resturaunts light up with imagination and the whole boat is themed Disney.  The ships are beautiful.  Even though your son is young and may not remember the trip later in life he will have a wonderful time and a huge smile on his face when he meets Mickey.  You will always have those photos and memories.  I personally think it is best to take kids on a Disney Vacation when they are young and can really enjoy it.    I am a Certified Disney Specialist and would love to help you plan your next cruise vacation for your family.  I would be more than happy.  Feel free to call me when you would like to book or if you have anymore questions on Disney or Cruising.

  2. We've been on a Disney Cruise with our 3 children, ages 9, 5, and 2 and we had the BEST vacation ever, and we have been to quite alot of places! 3 is a fantastic age to go on the cruise! The entire experience is nothing short of magical. I don't know if you've been to Disney World, but it is that same feeling! The kids club is spectacular and the counselors really love their jobs. They are so good with the children and all 3 of mine never wanted to leave! Every staff member goes the extra mile to make you feel special, including your children. They call them by the 1st name, and really give them attention when they dress up in costumes- my girls wore several of their princess costumes for photos etc... The pool is fun- he will have a blast and their is so much variety in chosing what to eat! The musical shows are as if you are on Broadway in New York- they really are that good- definitely don't miss them- your son will love it! Last of all, I would go on Disneycruise.com and get one of their free DVD's if you haven't already. We can't wait to go on our next trip! Oh, I forgot to mention- if he is not completely potty trained, then he will go to Flounder's Reef Nursery which is I believe, $6 per hour with a 2 hour min.  If he is completely potty trained, then he can go to Oceaneer's Club for ages 3-7. The Nursery you must reserve because they are only open certain times. But the clubs are available from around 9 am to 1 am!

  3. The two of you will have a blast and so will your son, but he will not remember the cruise for very long at all. I can't remember a thing about when I was 3 or 4 . The only thing I remember about being 5 were the bad stuff. But like I said, you will all have a great time, so go for it.

  4. Take him if you wish to go on a cruise but he won't understand what is happening.

  5. well it might be better when he is 7 or 8 cause my sis went then and i was 11 oe whatever and it was fun

and he has to potty trained to go in the clubs or its no fun..  haha idk if ur son is potty trained or not but thats just some advice

  6. take him along, he will enjoy it. so what if when he's grown he doesn't remember. do you remember everything from when you were a child? that's not the point. you're building up memories and good feelings in your son. he'll enjoy it and you will too. seeing his enjoyment will do wonders for you and your husband.

  7. Disney Cruise provides great fun and programs for kids.  The best for kids out of all the cruise lines, and fun for you too!   It is a great experience/chance for him to play with other kids.    If he doesn't mind being away from you for an hour or 2, and you are okay with it too. Or you might not want to share him with anyone!   Sometimes the little ones are afraid, so it depends upon your child.  If you decide to go make sure you bring along a camcorder so much to see and experience.   Have fun!

  8. I think he is too young still , he will enjoy that trip about 7 or 8 ,i think .

  9. Take him, but also take a video camera that way you can capture everything for him. Then when he is older he will be able to look back at the video and see how much fun he had as a child.
