Is there any way to insure to people that the fundraising money will be donated to St. Jude.. I just really need some help on this.. I came up with one idea.. My son plays baseball and I thought maybe he could get sponsors and so much per run he scores during the season or something like that? I thought about bake sales.. Any ideas would be appreciated..

  1. bake sales bring in money

    lemonade stands (a classic)

going to the local restraunt and ask if you can put a tin can on the counter with a label saying that the money will go to St. Jude's Children and empty it in a week

(depending on age and time of year) mowing lawns

    hope he gets some money

  2. Sponsered Run, Cycle, Row, Sail, Walk, Pogo stick, Skip

    Cake Sale

    Jumble/Car Boot Sale

Raffle - companys WILL give you FREE PRIZES if its for a good cause - worth a telephone call, nothing to lose. Try about 5 before giving up at least. Big chains will give away too.

    Disco, Party

Simple collecting tin and walking around your neighbourhood.

  3. If he contacts St. Judes, they should be able to put him touch with organizations that already support them.  They would have accounts setup and probably contacts for sponsorships.  He might be able t join in with something they already have or they could help him build something.  If there are not any contact in your area, I would suggest getting some help from a local branch of Lions club, Optimist Club, United Way or one of the many others.  His ideas are wonderful, but it takes a lot of work to pull it all together.

I wish you both the best of luck!

  4. How about doing chores for neighbors or other family members then sending the money earned to St. Jude's.  Congrats on having a caring son.
