  1. Tell him to google puberty, and then thank god for the internet

seriously though, ignore the morons who make you sound like a bad parent for being unsure about how to approach this subject. Truth is its alot less akward talking to another man about this. Also as a man dad has experienced male puberty and has more knowledge. Same as a girl having her first time of the month would probably prefer to talk to mom

  2. How old is he?

When kids ask a question at times they want a detailed answer as we think they do.

Depending on his age depends on what you need to tell him.

You can tell him something like "Well, your daddy will know more than this than I will. I'm a girl so I didn't go through the changes you will go through. What I do know is your voice will change, you'll get body hair (you can say under arms, your privates & chest), plus you may sweat more. You'll also get some hair on your face. Your daddy can tell you more when he gets home."

You may want to go to the book store and find a book for him to read. Be sure to look it over VERY well and read it before you give it to him. My oldest daughter is 12 & I have gotten a few books. Some said a lot more than I wanted her to know.

Hope this helps. Don't ignore him though. Let your son know he can come to you for anything and trust you. Let him know you'll do your best but you feel it is best for his daddy to talk to him since his daddy has been through it himself.

  3. well if he's asking you, you should tell him.  you should feel proud that he is comfortable enough to ask you about it and not go to one of his friends or something.  i know it may be embarrassing for you to talk about with your son but you should let him know that he can talk to you about everything.  if you make him feel embarrassed now he may not come to you later on in life with more important issues.  you can do it!  just remember that it is not innappropriate, he is your son and he is asking you...his mother!!!  good luck!

  4. Maybe you could find a book that you could buy him that he could look through and then ask you or dad when he has any questions

  5. tell him  u are his mother if u dont want too wait till dad gets home or make him call his dad. or give him a book but u check it first. i would say let him go online but yeah u never know if what they say is on that page. well good luck u made him now u get to tell him how he was made. u can tell him or he will ask his friends and who knows what they know and how they will tell him or show him.

  6. i though he was you're son??
