  1. Are you looking for the German birth certificate or the Report of a US citizen born abroad.  I am currently trying to get the German one so I will let you know how it turns out.  I have currently contacted the Standesamt in the town he was born in.

  2. The document you need is a DS-1350.  It's the birth certificate that was issued by the US embassy after you filed the Report of Birth Abroad.  Everything you need to know about replacing it is at this web site.....

  3. The military should still have his birth certificate.  I was also in the military and also in health care. You should have been given two options when he was born. You could get a birth certificate from your home state or a military one. Call your state vital statistics office and they should have a copy.

  4. Don't replace your son just because he has no birth certificate.  But if you're hellbent on replacing him, just have some guy stick his winky in your hot pocket while gyrating madly for a few minutes.  When the juices flow from his spicket you should have a replacement in around 34 weeeks.

  5. Get your knee pads ready it's going to take some work .
