If he was born in the UK, and you are British, then he is automatically British.

If he was born abroad, then he is British IF you are British other than by descent (so if you yourself are British by birth, naturalisation or registration, then your son is British).

To get a British passport, apply at your nearest Post Office or Passport Office if in the UK or at the nearest British Embassy or consulate if you are abroad.
