My son was mugged and his two front teeth were broken and chipped badly , they are now sensitive ,

he was referred to see a top dentist body as the dentist in question said he needed veneers but he gave a lot on the nhs, while he was waiting for the appointment the dentist went private so he missed out , now our new dentist is saying he will have to pay but she is nhs, shall i ask for a referral to see if he is still entitled to get them on the nhs
