My son who is 3 yrs old fell down on stair and bumped his nose, few drops of blood came out. i washed his nose

Is there any need to take my son to the pediatrician.

these sort of things happen a lot to kids

but if you notice anything out of ordinary, dizziness, sleepy or he starts crying for no reason then you should get him checked up

his nose can be broken.

when i had my nose broken by a baseball bleed a couple drops didnt hurt or anything. but had to go to the emergency room bc we were pressing charges against the person who did it.

turns out it was broken and i would need to have surgery by the end of the week bc it could have affected my breathing.

i would suggest you take him to the doctor just to be safe.

You can call your pediatrician and ask their advice.  I suggest that you do not let the child take a nap before you talk with them.  They will advise you on what to watch out for.

If it still bleeding no, but make sure by asking him if it still hurts (and that's its not swollen or bruised ) just to make sure its not broken.

But if its not bruised or swollen and its not bleeding or sore anymore than nothing to worry about.
