Its 1sch holiday 4 my little boy who will turn 5 in 2 days so he went to vacation care service& went to the excursion on Monday with new boot & sock (not 2thin & not 2thick) I didn't relise he had a long walk & found out almost 2inch blisters of both feet at the back ,no band aids when i picked him( he's on only sock) I thought it's ok as he didn't cry at that time &found out later when i came back home. it was nearly 2inchs both side& were torn. at V/care I asked about bandage & was told there is no bandage. I could not believe that. If has bandaid 1st stage my son won't suffer like this. I asked them that my son has told about his plain or not & 's told "I can't walk anymore" Till Now, I 'd a very difficult time to shower him especially on 1st day, my heart is nearly broken when he screamed and cried. Now he is on antibiotic. I think they 'd take action he told. so he won't be suffer like this. Do u think am i right to do thing with the v/care?who 'd be response for this?

  1. You are his parent and the Drs. are not they dont always know better try to wrap them with ace bandages or a telfa with a little bit of antibiotic cream.  Try giving him tylenol or Motrin for the pain when he exibits he in pain Good luck

  2. aww poor baby... but he'll be okay. it it paritally your fault. he should have had on s good running shoe not a boot. they do cause blisters.  you should sit down & talk with either the care providers or the person in charge of the place & tell them you don't like how the situation was handled... bring it to their attention so they know.

as for your son he is really young to have such blisters. buthe will be okay. i promise. :)

  3. I would imagine the group who took your child out would have informed you that he would be going on a longish walk.If so, you are responsible for sending your son on an excursion wearing new shoes that were bound to rub since they hadn't been broken in.
