My son will be 20 yrs old when we will be going to Canada to live does he need to have a visa for himself?

do we need to fill out a visa each or can we be on the same visa as a family?

    but only becuase he will be living there.

    if he was only visiting he would not.

    but he will be living there, in order to get a job he will need a special visa or a working card.

    Yes, you guys needs separate visa's cuz, ya are adult and independents, specially your son.

    they might have something togehter for you and wife.

    if you have kids under 18 it could be on a familly visa. good luck.

  2. Visa to live in Canada? Like an international student visa?

    If he`s coming to Canada to work, he`ll need a different visa. If he`s coming to Canada to live permanently then he needs to apply for permanent residency.

    Either way, he`s not considered a dependent at 20 and I believe will need to file his own application.

  4. To be honest I beleive he needs his own passport and visa. He is over 18 and as such is an adult here in Australia.
