My son will be away for 6 days, could it cause a panick/anxiety attack?

i had a anxiety attack last night, and i am trying to figure out what caused it.

-my son just left with his g-pa for 6 days, it will be the longest he has ever been away. could this have caused it? i was not thinking about him being gone when the attack happened, in fact i was going to bed and not thinking about anything really.

-i completely trust his g-pa, and the rest of the family my son will be with.

Stop worrying so much about your son. Stop thinking something will happen to him because chances are, it's slim as heck. I think you had an anxiety attack because you keep thinking about your son. My parents think the same way, I go out of the house for 3 hours and they call me to find out where I am and what i'm doing.

It's probably your first time alone at your house since your son was born, unless he gets out a lot. A had a panic attack too when my sister moved out and my mom was always working when I lived at her house. I'd suggest getting out of the house or inviting friends over.

Definately - I run a group home and when two of my consumers went to Hawaii, I didn't sleep for a week!!
