Warning : You may vomit after reading this.

He hasn't eaten anything unusual. The day before yesterday he started pooping with his usual turds. Then it turned into runny p**p and its bright orange. He had it in every single diaper yesterday and it gave him a terrible rash which cleared up last night thanks to Desitin. The second to the last diaper was really black, and the last one for the night was getting solid again. Then he wakes up this morning with no poopy, but after breakfast he has bright orange p**p again. He doesn't seem to be sick or even have a tummy ache. He just plays and toots and he needs his diaper changed and I don't know why he is suddenly doing this. What's going on?

  1. black p**p is always a concern.  you should at least call your doc or nurse or clinic.

red and black p**p are the only colors you need to worry about.

orange, green, yellow, brown, anything like that just comes from what they eat - but red and black come from problems.

  2. I'm not sure.  My girlfriend's son had a similar pooping problem for about 3 weeks.  She took him to the doctor and he said he was fine.  He stopped on his own and didn't have any other problems during that time.  Just one of those things I guess.

  3. he's got the squits.  Good luck with that.  Make sure he doesn't get dehydrated.

  4. If you are unsure, I would just call the nurse and ask.  He/She can ask the doctor and advise you what to do or if he needs to come in.

  5. Take him to the pediatrician immediately. I have no idea why this is happening. Be wary of advice you might get from others online.

  6. may be he is allergic to some kind of food..(may be suddenly he become so)try to give him rice only or vegetable soup consist of carrots and potato..or may be u changed ur source of water..check that also..wish he will get well soon

  7. Anytime a person poops blacj you take them to the doctor ASAP, because it is old blood and can be a sign of internal bleeding.   Sometime p**p is unusually if he is at the beginning of a cold or fever
