  1. did you try putting the toilet in your bathroom w you?

telling him that "this is where big people go" and showing him your toilet?

going at the same time, if your the dad?

    rewarding him?

  2. I've heard from other moms with boys who were told from their doctors that boys tend to have a lot of trouble pooping on the toilet because it scares them to see a part of them leave their body.  I guess it's different with pee.  I know that sounds really weird, but I swear I couldn't make something that weird up.  Anyway, I've heard it helps if they have something to rest their feet on, so if they're on the actual toilet, give them a stool.  And basically, just be patient and wait until your child is ready.  All children potty train at different ages.  My son had no real interest when he was two, and we tried everything.  A few days after he turned three, he suddenly started using the toilet and hasn't messed up since.  Oh, and special underwear work well too.  They are less likely to p**p on Thomas the Tank Engine than in a pull-up.

  3. My oldest wouldn't go on the toilet either... we tried the little potty and the big toilet and he would NOT do it.  Finally I asked him where he could p**p.  He was able to let the p**p come out on the bathroom floor and saw that it wasn't as bad or scary as he thought.  Not a single problem after that.

Each kid is different, so make it fun, be patient and try to understand that in a year, this will be a funny story to tell friends trying to potty train their kids!

  4. my son wont either and hes two. he sits there and sits there and the second i get him off and in his diaper he poops. go figure. his daycare teacher says that lost of kids mostly boys have this problem when first learning to potty train but eventually get better at it.

    just hang in there

  5. My son didn't p**p on the toilet until he was almost 4.  There is nothing you can do to make him do it.  He will do it when he is dang good and ready!!!
