  1. Day care is your best bet.  AND thank your lucky stars!  Sounds like me and my son - we both cried because we were too young to go to school.  It's a good thing!

  2. if you have time try doing preschool  activitys with him you can also give him a head start in kindergatern by doing those activity an also try homeschooling websites

  3. Look for "pre-kindergartens" - they are more structured to prepare them for the structure of kindergarten.  They're more focused on learning than a regular day care. I don't know what your situation is but at age 4 he wouldn't have to go every day, or for more than a couple of hours at a time.  But if he's in full time daycare, you might look for one that has pre-k in the morning and regular daycare later on so he's not in "school" all day.

  4. Bring him to a daycare with a pre-school program that do activities such as circle time.  He will get the feeling of school and will also be more prepared when it is time for him to go to the big boy school! He can even bring a backpack so he can be even more of a big boy!

  5. You'll have to check with your local school district, because they all have different criteria.  In our state you have to be 5 to enter kindergarten, however kids can go to Head Start at 4 yrs old.  (Head Start is a federal program offered through public schools in all states) I found a Pre K program at a church for 3 and 4 yr olds for my son.  It was just like school, with a really good curriculum.  He was able to read, do math and understand the basics of classroom structure by the time he went to Kindergarten.  It was an invaluable experience for him.  You really have to look around and find the best fit for your son.

  6. Look for preschool or head start....don't send him to actual school yet just because he wants to. But a preschool or head start would make him feel like a big kid anyway.

  7. look into preschool/nursery school they normally start at age 3 for public schools

if your public school doesnt offer it try a private school

you will need to do this soon as most schools screen for preschool and have screenings once a month

  8. Pre schools...They are just like big boy schools
