My son is turning 1 on october 4th, my family is originally from another country and my husbands family is from virginia, so we don't have much family down here in Florida, our apartment complex does not have like an activities area near the pool or anything like that... I don't have family with a big house or anything like that, and there are only like 7 kids in my list, I want something simple, maybe pizza, soda and cake and i wanted like a pool area, but i don't know how...

Any Ideas?

  1. I did 1sr birthday party at the park, it was so much fun, and afterward we just had to throw paper plates and stuff to the garbage cans and not worry about cleaning. You could also get the kiddie pool (the one you inflate yourself) and let kids play in it around your apartment complex. Make sure you ask the landlord first.

  2. You can have it at the beach! Just get a canopy and rent some tables and chairs =) Have a Hawaiian theme party for your baby,

It'll be really fun and nice environment . You can can have someone deliver the pizza to you guys (so it doesn't get cold) there and have lots of fruits n fluids for the kids, you can buy a little inflatable pool at Target so the little babies and toddlers play, water balloons are fun too

and maybe have a bonfire after wards trust me it'll be lots of fun and super cheap.

Good luck! and happy birthday to your son

  3. You can maybe try the park. Get to cakes get a small one for your 1 year old. They LOVE playing in cake. Maybe get like a little pool for him/her.

  4. Im not from florida, but if you have a YMCA, you could have all of that there, and it wont be expensive at all. If you wanted something more extravagant you could go to a water park and just bring a cake with you, they may even have something for birthday parties.

  5. You can check into renting at another apartment complex, I know it sounds weird, but they might rent out to you.

  6. my son's 1st bday we had a bar b que and played games with the kids now we did have over 40 people in our house and my husband hired a dj but the kids still had a great time.  Kids like to play and eat as long as they can do that they will have fun.

  7. don't do a pool for a 1 year old go to the park set up a nice little picnic it can be right during play time for the kids the best thing about that is that you will be doing all of the moms who come there a favor when there kids go home and take a nap til dinner time giving mom time to her self
