I live in New Jersey and I want someplace that will keep small children occupied for the day. The reason I don't like parties is the short attention span of my children, they are much better with being out of the house. Also I hate establishments like Chuck E. Cheese and The Funplex.

  1. Ok well i am a mom of 2 and my boys are so wild and they love to exercise and go to fun places like chuck e cheeses but if u are thinking of something different i would say ask for some help from family and take the whole fam to a park close by that you dont go to often and have everyone you invite bring a food item so you have enough food and have a little picnic it will be fun for them and than you will have nothing oto pick up

  2. the   zoo

  3. how about a place like pump it up or bounce-town? Not sure if you have any by you but those places are So much fun! We went to a birthday party there recently and all the kids had a blast and there was very little work on the parents' part.

Other than that, how about a picnic type party at a place with a good park? That is always fun.

    Good luck!

  4. park

  5. hes only 2, he wont remember it, so its more like a day for you. do what you want. that you wouldn't do too often. its still like celebrating a birthday, but not in a wasteful way. i know parents who spent $1,000 on parties when there kid was only like 3 or 4, and the whole experience was stressful for them. unfortunately, the kid won't even remember the experience lol

  6. Gymboree offers party packages for up to 20 children under age 5.

Try an indoor sporting complex - they sometimes offer fun time on a playing field and then food afterwards.

Sometimes the local YMCA will have swimming party packages.

Build a bear workshop or a paint your own pottery place.
