  1. its possible but unfortunately they say that brown is more dominant over any other color.  but that doesn't mean that they will be brown.  It sounds like theres a good chance for you son to have either blue or green eyes, maybe even hazel.  My 3 month old son still has blue blue eyes that were once grey/blue and I have green eyes, my father has blue eyes but my son's father has brown eyes, so we will see :)

  2. They usually stay their color you will notice in a month or two. It can take up to a year, though. If they are very light blue, they might stay. Are you sure you're not mistaking them for the light gray of the normal baby color most have when they are first born?

  3. My 3.5 year olds eyes were blue until she was almost 2. Then they turned brown. Daddy and I have brown eyes.

  4. An infant's eye color is determined by a substance called melanin. Melanin is a dark pigment contained in the iris, the structure that controls how much light is allowed into the eye. The color of the iris is determined by the amount of melanin in the iris. Light eyes have very little pigment, whereas darker eyes have a lot. In newborns, the pigmentation process of the iris is not yet complete. Babies with darker skin are usually born with dark eyes that stay relatively dark. Iris color in lighter-skinned babies is usually a blue or bluish-gray color at birth, then change as they grow. Melanin production changes during the first year of life, usually resulting in a darker, deeper eye color.

Permanent eye color is not set until a baby is at least nine months old, so wait until your child's first birthday to determine what color they will be.

An infant's eye color is influenced by the eye color of their parents. Eye color is often studied in the field of genetics because of its inheritance patterns, but is still not fully understood.

  5. a baby's eye color is determined by the age of 1.  What ever color it is when he is one is the color that will stay.
