  1. The different brands shouldn't matter, since they are all basically the same. But, the soy should help. My oldest was the same way. She had iron formula, and she would projectile vomit after taking even just an ounce or so in. The soy worked like magic! lol  It stayed down, and she had no other issues from that day on.

  2. Have you tried soy formula? he could be lactose intolerant.

  3. That's weird you can't get enfamil on WIC they switched us from similac to enfamil, you can't get similiac here anymore. Ask your dr about prosoybee WIC does cover that everywhere. My daughter did sooo much better on that than anything.

  4. If your babys doctor writes a script for Enfamil, then WIC will give it to you.  We are on WIC & my son had to be put on Nutrimigen due to cows milk protein allergy & our pediatrician wrote a script for it & filled out a paper for WIC & we got it with no problems.  Good Luck & Congrats on your baby!

  5. I just looked at Enfamil.com and they have a program/coupon section where you can sign up and they will send you checks in the mail to help pay for your formula. They will even send free samples.  My daughters uses Similac and Enfamil uses to send me up to $11 Checks.   Good luck.

  6. I agree with the person above me. You really should try enfamil prosobe. It's a lactose free formula

  7. Contact enfamil and tell them you are considering using their formula and you want to try it out...tell them you received free cans from say similac or good start..and then enfamil will send you free cans and coupons for 5-7 dollars off a can once a month.

  8. my daughter was on enfamil prosobee for awhile, and it helped her out. Shes 9 months now and I just switched her back over to Enfamil lipil

  9. Since Isomil did not work for you (it's Similac's soy for those of you that do not know) and if regular Similac Advance doesn't work, I would suggest trying Alimentum. It is a hypoallergenic formula for babies with sensitivities to soy and lactose formulas. With a note from your doctor, WIC should be able to assist you to get a different brand of formula if you want to try Enfamil. Without that note, they can only offer you the regular formulas that your state WIC office uses, which I am gathering is the Similac brands.

  10. same problem

    my daughter like enfamil to

it sounds like to me hes a lacto baby try good start supreme

NATURAL CULTURES its in a green can...Then when he gets to wear he needs to be off formula ask for lacto free milk

let me know if it works

  11. He needs to try the Alimentum (the hypoallergenic).  WIC absolutely will refuse to use Enfamil even if its better so you need to get a doctor note from the pediatrician for Alimentum and give it to WIC.

  12. I agree--try soy. Or, see if your doctor will give you a prescription for nutramigen. If it's a medical necessity, then WIC will pay.
